I am unashamedly in many Facebook and Reddit support groups for hikers, backpackers and general outdoorsy interests.
Today someone posted about rest stepping and pressure breathing and I went out to my steep driveway to try this and my. mind. Is. Blown.
This is the difference between two walks I did. One without these techniques a couple of months ago and one just now.
My heart rate never gets much out of Zone 1 and I don’t feel anything.
So yes today I learned how to walk uphill 😂
Now I’m unstoppable !
